Review by hotel critic
My recent gourmet getaway at Kalev Spa Hotel & Waterpark was a delightful culinary journey intertwined with relaxation. The free breakfast buffet offered a tempting array of treats, from freshly baked pastries to hearty omelets made to order. I found myself eagerly anticipating each morning to savor the generous spread that fueled my days of exploration in the vibrant city. One evening, after a day of waterpark fun, I unwound with a drink at the poolside bar. The serene ambiance was the perfect backdrop to enjoy a cocktail while reflecting on the day's adventures. The hotel's restaurant, Leib, showcased a menu that was not only varied but also highlighted the Baltic region's fresh produce and culinary traditions. Each dish was a culinary masterpiece, expertly crafted to please the palate.Exploring the nearby dining options was a joy, with Gelato Ladies and Lusikas just a stone's throw away. However, the convenience and quality of the meals at Kalev Spa left me wanting to dine in every night. Though there was a slight hiccup with the timing of breakfast delivery one morning, the overall dining experience at the hotel was top-notch. I highly recommend Kalev Spa Hotel & Waterpark for a gastronomic retreat in the heart of Tallinn.
